The Grotto Gardens are located in the heart of central Wisconsin in the town of Rudolph. Just minutes away from Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point, there are a wide variety of choices for nearby lodging, shopping, restaurants, golf courses and other activities. Plan to spend at least two to three hours at the Grotto to view all of the features, then head to the local Cheese Factory for some of Wisonsin's finest dairy products. We also have areas where you can enjoy your own picnic lunch.

Hours of Operation

The Grotto Gardens are always open. The Cave, Gift Shop, Museum, and Chapel are open from Memorial Day through the end of October as follows.

Fees

There is no charge to visit the Grotto Gardens. There is a nominal fee to tour the Wonder Cave. Please note - we accept cash and checks - we do not accept credit or debit cards.

Adults: $3.00

Children 12 - 17: $1.50

Children 6 - 11: $.50

Children under 6: Free

Group Events

If you want to have a planned event at the Grotto, you can rent the grounds for a fee. In addition to the picnic area, where you may enjoy your own luncheon, the Council of Catholic Women of St. Philip's will cook and serve meals in the church dining room to groups of 25 people or more. There is a daily morning Mass celebrated at St. Philip's Catholic Church, which is located adjacent to the Grotto Gardens. Touring the grounds after mass and ending up with a well-prepared meal makes for a great outing. For more information, call 715-435-3120.

Wisconsin Dairy State Cheese - Rudolph

This top-rated cheese factory and store sells a wide variety of cheese products and conducts tours on the cheese-making process. The viewing window allows you to watch as the cheese is made. Marian Center for Peace of Wisconsin Rapids

The Marian Center houses the Mother of America Adoration Chapel where Our Eucharistic Lord is continually adored by members of the Wisconsin Rapids community.
