Welcome to the Rudolph Grotto Gardens
The Rudolph Grotto Gardens are set in a beautiful area of trees and flowers with man-made rock surroundings located in central Wisconsin, just minutes away from Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point.
Paths meander over five acres of gardens that are bright with flowers, plants and trees. The gardens and shrines provide a spiritual setting where one can spend quiet moments contemplating the wonders of God and creation.
Visit St. Jude's Chapel, the Grotto Museum and the Gift Shop. Take a walk along the shrines depicting the Fourteen Stations of the Cross and the Seven Sorrows of Mary. Journey through the Wonder Cave, a one-fifth mile passageway, featuring 26 shrines, and designed based on the catacombs in Rome. Enjoy a picnic lunch in our Picnic Area amid the rock formations and trees.
The Grotto Gardens flourish at the hands of a caretaker and volunteer help and are open year round for all to enjoy. The Gift Shop and Cave are open 7 days a week on a seasonal basis from Memorial Day through mid-September. The St. Philip Church Picnic is held at the Grotto Gardens each year on the first Sunday in August.
